An aeroplane toiletThe Problem

As the population grows, there is an increasing need to travel, which, for long distances, involves the use of aircraft.

Unfortunately, the provision of toilets in aircraft comes at a high cost to the airline industry to keep them hygienic.

Because of their constant use, the malodours always seem to persist, causing an unpleasant experience for passengers.

The Product and Solution

BioJet is an effective biological treatment for toilets that compliments BioFresh, which is a treatment for the airline-holding tank.

The product combines biodegradable surfactants and specially selected bacterial strains, which digest organic debris and in particular, targets uric acid scale.

Moreover, the product contains a blend of active bacteria, together with a cherry fragrance and blue dye for a cost effective ‘kick start’ to the biological break down process. BioJet is readily biodegradable, non-toxic, non-flammable and the surfactants contained in the blend comply with the biodegradability criteria, as laid down in Regulations (EC) 648/2004.

Usage Instructions

BioJet should be added to the ‘flush tank’ in the aircraft and should be dosed at a rate of 250ml per 500 litres of fresh water, with a minimum dose of 250ml per tank.

Before any application of the product, it MUST be confirmed that the flush tank is separate to any other on-board water supply. If the waste tank is to be left un-emptied the BioJet should be combined with an additional waste treatment such as BioFresh.

Health & Safety

BioJet should be handled under good house keeping practices and you should always wash hands after use. The product contains naturally occurring non-pathogenic microbes. However, please keep the product away from drinking water and foodstuffs. BioFresh is non-flammable, biodegradable, non-toxic and when used as directed, is completely safe. For best results, store product in a cool, dry place.
